The Quality Assurance (QA) team comprises of Manager, Quality Assurance (MQA), and Quality Reviewers. The quality process at BSPL is two fold. It seeks to enhance the quality of courses/documents, while at the same time, identify the areas of improvement and training needs of the authors. The MQA and Quality Reviewers carry out the following major roles:
- Reviewing of documents
- Providing author feedback and identifying training areas/areas of improvement
- Designing macro-level strategies to enhance the overall quality of the services provided by BSPL.
The QA team verifies a document/course on various parameters:
Compliance with ID practices and principles. These include verification for:
Instructional clarity
Proper chunking and flow
Proper transitioning of ideas
Relevant content depth
Compliance with the design of a course/document.
Compliance with the standards and guidelines of the client.
Grammar and spelling mistakes.
Editing and readability issues.
Presentation style and instructional strategies.

Fortnightly or monthly (frequency varies from project to project) Quality One-to-One Feedback sessions are held with the authors and instructional designers to convey the areas of improvement to them. The areas of improvement identified by the QA team, which serve as training needs assessment, are conveyed to the Training team as well. The Training team trains the authors based on the quality feedback on a continuous basis.
